Facilities

UTRON, Inc. a parent company to UTRON Kinetics, LLC, has a substantial investment infrastructure to support its high velocity gun launch and materials research and materials processing programs. UTRON has in-house active materials research facilities utilizing UTRON’s Combustion Driven Compaction (CDC) powder compaction technology. Gun research facilities include a one-of-a-kind 45mm and a 155mm combustion light gas gun. Support facilities and capabilities include two machine shops, a high energy/voltage pulse power facility, high powered optical microscopes, a scanning electron microscope with EDS capability, a x-ray diffraction machine, high speed digital data acquisition systems, and a design and analysis group.

UTRON, Inc., along with its subsidiary company, UTRON Kinetics, occupies more than 16,000 square feet of modern office and high energy laboratory space in one of northern Virginia’s fastest growing technology corridors. Our Manassas, Virginia (Prince William County) based facilities are approximately 30 miles west of Washington, DC near Interstate 66 and Prince William Parkway. We are located at the INNOVATION @ Prince William Technology Park.

West Virginia

UTRON, Inc. operates office, laboratory and testing facilities on a campus of nearly 300 acres in Ashton, West Virginia (Mason County), which is part of the state’s Metro Valley Region. This facility is approximately 50 miles west of the state's capital city, Charleston, WV.
